IEP Advocacy Support for Parents
Navigating special education can be overwhelming. As both professionals and parents, we walk alongside families as they navigate the IEP process. We help parents prepare for meetings, understand their rights, review IEP documents, and communicate effectively with schools. Our goal is to ensure every parent feels equipped to advocate for their child’s needs with clarity and confidence.
Homeschool Evaluations & Math Tutoring
We provide personalized homeschool evaluations for students in grades K–12 in accordance with Virginia Code § 22.1-254.1(C). Our evaluations are parent-centered, child-sensitive, and designed to reflect each student’s growth—not just grade-level expectations.
We specialize in supporting neurodiverse learners, especially autistic children, by combining evaluation with targeted academic support. Our tutoring services focus on Grade 8 Math and Algebra I, helping students build confidence and mastery in core skills. Together, these services empower families to educate at home with structure, support, and peace of mind
Parent Workshops & Educational Seminars
We host dynamic workshops designed to empower parents with knowledge, tools, and community. Topics include understanding IEPs, transitioning into or out of homeschooling, and fostering academic success at home.
We also offer special topic seminars that cover:
**Financial Support for Special Needs Families
**Medicaid 101: What you need to know and how to apply
**Guardianship & Legal Planning for when your autistic child turns 18
These sessions blend practical guidance with compassionate support—helping parents prepare for life’s transitions with confidence and clarity.
